Congratulations to The Mallett Brothers Band, winner of this year’s Sonicbids contest. The Fuel-injected 6-piece alt-country rock band hailing from Portland, ME has won Best Local Act, Best Live Act, Best Local Album in the Phoenix Best Music Poll, 2011. The band describes their eclectic style as comparable to Steve Earle meets the Stones, in a shack in the woods, with electricity and a bottle of bourbon. Now in its fifth edition, Snoe.down, the all-ages winter music & sports festival hosted by moe., returns to central Vermont and Vermont’s most popular and dynamic ski and snowboard destination, Killington Resort in Killington, and Spartan Arena in neighboring Rutland, for a weekend of winter fun and music March 21-24.

Vermont natives Strangefolk, Ivan Neville’s New Orleans funk band Dumpstaphunk, progressive string band Floodwood and talented American bluegrass country/jam rockers Eastbound Jesus, electro-rock band Jimkata, melodically inventive musical adventurer Marco Benevento, Brooklyn-based jazz/funk/pop quartet Tauk and Brasstronica quintet The Primate Fiasco will join moe. at Snoe.down 2013.

moe. will headline both Friday and Saturday nights at Spartan Arena. Several afternoon performances by a variety of artists will take place throughout the weekend at select Killington Resort day lodges. A special, separately ticketed kick-off party will take place Thursday night at Killington’s Wobbly Barn.

Festival attendees will be able to take advantage of a myriad of world-class winter activities available at Killington Resort, including a very special Snoe.down Learn To Ski/Ride program. Attendees may purchase reduced price lift tickets to Killington Resort with their Snoe.down ticket and be eligible to choose from a variety of discounted Killington lodging options. Snoe.down is sponsored in part by the Town of Killington Economic Development and Tourism Office.

Single Day, Festival and VIP tickets are on sale now with no service charges at the FlynnTix box office located at 153 Main St. in Burlington, Vermont. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.flynntix.org and by phone at 802.863.5966. Service charges will apply. Box Office hours are 10am-5pm Mon-Fri and 11am-4pm Saturdays (closed Sundays). Early Bird tickets will be available only as long as supplies last. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.

Snoe.down VIP tickets include admission to both Spartan Arena shows with fast lane/private entrance; private (21+ only) viewing area at Spartan Arena; official Snoe.down 2013 festival poster; VIP only Sunday brunch at the Wobbly Barn in Killington featuring a very special acoustic performance by moe.; and more. An under 21 viewing area will be available behind the sound board and in the house right bleachers.

A portion of all ticket purchases are being donated to Vermont Adaptive the only year round sports and recreation organization in the state empowering individuals with disabilities.

Beer gardens serving Magic Hat products will be available in Spartan Arena.
